Pterodactyls are NOT extinct!

So I've made a HUGE scientific discovery. Pterodactyls are not extinct after all. I know this for a fact because that's the only creature that could drop the amount of crap on my hood from the skies. Not only are they no longer extinct, but this particular one must eat out of the Taco Bell dumpster regularly. The entire front end was covered in bird crap. So I rush home from work and take the hose to it. After a good wash, this is what I'm left with:

It's hard to see, but if you look closely at the reflection, you can see where it's blurred. Well, that was pretty much 8 spots all over the passenger's side of the hood and down the fender. I wasn't planning on busting out the Porter Cable again, but I had no choice. Ultimate Compound, orange Lake County pad, Blackfire polish, white Lake County pad, Blackfire sealant, black Lake County pad, and two coats of Ultimate wax by hand. I got lucky and was able to get it back to normal, but it took some serious compounding.

The moral of the story? I hate flying creatures now as much as I hate amber on a car....

Once I saw Pterodactyl in the thread name, I knew this thread could not be taken seriously. lol.

I used to have crows that sat in our trees and would drop bombs all over our cars and eat the dogs food. Some airsoft and paintball practice has seem to made them extinct around my house.....

Based on the size of the turds on my car, it might have been cows!

I had the SAME problem that I just fixed. Damn bird crap on the hood tore up my paint.. The bird must have ate battery acid and gravel... or something.

Major paint correction work to get it right again.

We got a family of horned owls at my office complex.
You ever see how horned owls mark their territory, and pretty much anything else in the area?

I'd be glad it wasn't a flock of seagulls stuffed on bad seafood--would take months to get rid of the smell...

.... or a flying cow.

Be happy it wasn't a blue heron crapping on your car:

Great Blue Heron Pooping - YouTube

They land on our dock and "release ballast" almost every time they take off and fly away. Makes those spots look like nothing. I hate those birds.

DAAAYYYYUM...I get those in my backyard from time to time. They usually scare the hell out of me because they stand 4' tall. The FAA needs to do something about regulating these birds.
