Lift Kit Opinions

OK, So I am planning on getting a lift for my 99 Laredo.
I have been doing a LITTLE research, and have come across a complete kit by Rocky Road Outfitters for around $1,000 for 3.5".

What do you all think? Should I go for this kit?

Comes with Rancho shocks, HD springs, quick disconnects etc...

Is there a better one out there?

PLEASE help me make the best decision here. If it comes down to having to save $3,000 for a kit, so be it, just please educate me! lol

P.S THANK YOU AGAIN!

RRO has a bad history with customers, if you can pick up local it would be best. if not, expect your item to arrive withing a few weeks to months.

Well, shipping really isn't all that big of a deal to me. But as far as quality etc....is it a bad history there too? Is it a bad kit?

Shop around thought, you will find better options for about the same price range. Not sure how great RK is, they had issues with the WK kit at first. OME would be great, i personally think Rubicon Express sells good stuff, look at Iron Rock too.

Most of those I have not heard of. Iron Rock was the one recommended to me, but once you get into a complete kit it ends up being over $2,000 for what I would need. Thank you for the info tho, please let me know of anything you can recommend.

I've heard rough country was the worst possible kit you could buy. :(

Do they have real world experience or did they hear it from mouth of another that heard it from his moms uncles second cousins step sister?

The new joins they offer are amazing and they are rebuild able.
Components look top notch and if installed and torqued properly, it should out last your WJ.

Just my 2 nickles

What do you plan go do with your lifted WJ. If you want to hit the more challenging trails have a superior ride quality and fit 33s or better, you might want to save up for Claytons long arm kit. If I had a WJ that's what I'd get. Do it once, do it right.
