0:35, what is known as "Sunroof Deck".
0:47, line "A5". I know how to work that job the guy in the red shirt is doing.
0:56, line "A2"... which actually comes before A5??? Doors off operation. (And is actually a Durango...)
0:59, line "A8" AKA Fast Track... Door reinstallation.
1:01, KUKA Glass... again, comes BEFORE A8. Terrible editing.
1:06, "A33" AKA "L-Line".... underbody kit.
1:08, Sunroof Deck... again.
1:10, Axle Loop. (This video is now so out of sequence, it can't be helped...)
1:29, a clip from the year 2010...
1:33, "F1"... final line... about just a few feet from the end. Yes, one of the last things done are the door badges.

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!

Ugh I can't STAND the videos where all they show are the stupid robots, then the body and chassis meeting, tire installation and then all of a sudden it's done? No way! The real work and excitement happens with humans working!

Not exactly the same but when I saw a documentary on Ferrari they use 3? Robots. Frame inspection, valve seats in the heads, and paint.

Point is, you can't beat a person that takes pride in their job versus a robot.

Anybody have this in a downloadable format? I would love to have copy to go with my build sheet. Its a nice touch that personalizes all the hard work that goes into making our GC's.

I am impressed with JNAP and all the people that make it happen! Awesome!

I totally agree with pride in the workplace however the consistency that robots offer is second to none. Robots never have a bad day, get sick, have day to day worries that humans have which affects their work. This leads to unsurpassed consistency.

I found this the other day on a youtube campaign to satisfy my GC lust. I agree, it would be much more awesome to watch what the people do. I wish there was a longer video of a GC's journey through the factory.

Robots can lose calibration, wear out articulation joints, have worn tooling, and other such maladies...they do in fact "get sick". Automation, whether it be a robot or PLC controlled machine, is a necessity today. Our GC's would cost $1 million a copy otherwise!

The human factor is a necessity as well...operator control of the machinery and processes are a long way, if ever, from being replaced by automated controls. The product is still only as good as the people who make it happen!

A very fascinating video. My only "complaint" is that I wish it were much longer and more detailed.
