Rock Rails for the Trailhawk???

I was watching the Tails of the Trailhawk videos from the Rubicon. I noticed the star of the show has a body hugging rock rail. I wonder if it will be available as a Mopar Accessory? I like the way it looks.

Has anyone compared the Mopar rock rails to Rocky Road Outfitter rock rails? I would be interested in the pros/cons of each if anyone has already added them.

I haven't compared the two but in the past everything I bought from Rocky was very good quality, sturdy and worked as promised like a lot of other products out there. The price savings is substantial and I doubt there is any real advantage between the two for the intended use. At least Jeep knows things get used unlike other MFG's and builds them right..... recent Ford F150 factory skid plates are a joke and cost $$$$$$.

I went with the Mopar rails and they are definitely high quality.

I priced them out at the dealer for $1,200.00. I opted instead to get the Rocky Road Steprails.

Re: Rock Rails for the Trailhawk???

I bought the Rocky road rails and they are built stout. I'll be putting them on in the next few weeks. I'm not sure Jeep could build them stronger but these won't get bent or dented hitting any rock at any speed under 100MPH! They weigh in at around 40+ lbs each and are built out of receiver tube. They're black powder coated and very well made for the price!
