Question for 2" lift

I'm planning on doing a 2" RC spacer lift along with the 1.5" spidertrax spacers already installed on my jeep. I want to run duratracs but I am not sure the biggest size I can run in a duratrac. I will be mainly be using my jeep for a DD but once and awhile taking it offroad. My rim is going to be 17". If you guys could help me that would be wonderful

Also currently I own a set of 5 sahara rims that are brand new the 18" ones off of a 2007 jk do you guys think I should put the 18" saharas on or keep my stock plastidipped rims and eventually purchase moabs if I decide to sell the saharas.

Re: Question for 2" lift

OK I'll bite since nobody else has.

With the spacers you won't have any issues with the width of the tire. Without them you might have an issue where the tire touches the inner bolt. Depend on the tire size. I run 255/70/17 on the 2" budget lift and don't have any issues with the bolt. I am contemplating going with a larger 265 though.

As for the 18's, I'd personally stick with the 17's. In the past, finding tire sizes for 18's as opposed to 17's proved both more difficult to find and more expensive. I'd prefer the Moab's, but you'll need small spacer to have them clear the calipers on your '07 from what I've read. Kind of defeats the purpose of better wheels for me, since I'd really only get new wheels like that if it meant I didn't have to run spacers. NOT a fan of them, from experience.

Yeah I really like the moab look I bought the 18" saharas because the guy said they were moabs drove 2 hours to pick them up and they were saharas... I figured as much since he said they were 18's but anyway I was running hankook dynapro's 265/65/17 without spacers and it cleared the UCA bolt. So that's why I'm contemplating what size duratracs I can fit! I know I want something bigger for sure because if I can fit those without spacers and a lift I can fit a nice sized duratrac.
