2014 Painted Wheel Flares on my 2011

I ordered the 2014 paintable wheel flares and had them painted to match my jeep. The parts match up perfectly. Its a little tough to see in the pictures because of the dark charcoal paint but the difference is amazing. It gets rid of the black plastic along the wheel wells. I got these at Just for Jeeps: 2014 Overland Paintable Wheel Flares

Nice! I want to do this too. Thanks for the link. Couple of questions for you. What did it cost to paint? And cost for the installation? Or did you do the installation yourself and how difficult was it? Are you going to get the smooth rear bumper and pieces below the doors parts painted too?

Interesting.
Looks like you gloss painted your fog light surrounds too?

Thanks guys. It cost about $150 to paint. I installed them myself, it's simply just a few clips. As for the rest, I'm still waiting on the front lower bumper group buy from black ops. The sides under the doors I'll do if/when I ever take the side steps off. The rear I definitely plan to do. I'll have that piece painted and then attach my rear valence to it, should look really nice.

Looks great! Considering this myself but am hesitant because I do a bit of mild off-roading/trail riding and am worried about paint chips. Great info nonetheless.

Yes, actually I painted them body color then gloss painted them.

How do they look unpainted? I want to replace my fender flares but last time I checked, the textured ones cost about $600 for all 4 of them.

They look like they need to be painted and cost under $300. For some reason the newer parts are cheaper.

Looks awesome, would do it myself but I think the matte dark grey blends pretty well with my Dark Charcoal paint- yours should look great when all lower parts are painted!
