Road Magnet Aggressive Drop Quesiton

For the guys who are running the lowest Road Magnet drop, have you had any issues with tires rubbing on the wheel liner or fender edges? The reason I ask is because I want to go with the aggressive drop mainly for the reduction of body roll during autocross sessions, but was unsure if there would be any rubbing issues under heavy load in some corners.

I have not had any issues at all with rubbing at all. I have had them on for quite a while. I'm still running stock rim/tire combo. If you are interested in running 22s talk to tchrist30, he just installed them and loves them.

For both my tire sets I'm running smaller than the factory size. 295/40/20 as my daily driver set and 285/35/20 for the track set. So I guess I should be fine.

I think youll be fine from my experience. I had some 305-40's on mine for a bit and they were close...but never rubbed.

Ok great. Thanks for the help guys. Out of curiosity where did you guys order yours from? I saw on road magnets site that they come in blue standard and have to pay extra for even black which I would prefer not to do.

I have no rubbing with mine at all. If you order from black ops they come a cool black color and they are cheaper than road Magnet site. Good luck

I actually ordered them from black ops on Tuesday. They should be here today. It was great dealing with black ops, they answered all my questions and were just great to deal with

Can you tell me what size tires you have? I'm also worried about the rubbing possibility... I ordered 22's with 290/40/22 tires and plan on ordering the springs as my Eibach's don't seem to make much difference. I'm wondering if I should've went with 290/35/22 instead.

I have 285-35-22 . Good call on the springs, you will love them.

Thanks for your reply. I thought I got 290, but it's actually the 285/40/22's Yokohama parada spec. I hope these won't rub. I may end up changing the tires to the same size as yours.
