Once my truck is delivered, I will be getting the windshield, passenger windows, and pano roof tinted.

With that being said I'm torn on how I want the pano roof tinted. Options below:

#1 90% Crystalline Tint to strictly block heat/UV
#2 40% Crystalline Tint to darken up and block gets l heat/UV
#3 5% limo tint to make the roof dark enough even on the brightest days, this would probably allow the shade to be always open as well...

Thoughts/opinions?

Re: Pano Roof Tint?

I did 15% ceramic on mine and love it. I can drive with the shade open without feeling heat or that things are too bright. While the shade cuts down the light, I think it just let more heat in before it was tinted.

For the remaining windows (minus the windshield) I did 30% ceramic. It really helps keep the black interior cooler during the summer.

I think crystalline is the 3m brand name while LLumar uses the term ceramic.

Just make sure to use a quality tinter. A guy with a razor and talent is far superior to those machine cuts. Tint should always go to the edge of the glass.

I highly recommend it.

Thanks @Thekoy

Any other opinions or others who have tinted the pano roof

Any one know what tint percentage the factory panoramic roof glass is?
