Smallest rim size for Wk2 w/hemi

Ok, so we just purchased 17" 2013 jeep wrangler rubicon rims and tires on eBay.. Now after I have one them I decided to do research (stupid I know...), but, well we have a 2011 jeep grand cherokee Overland (like the trim matters) but it has the hemi and tow package and currently has the stock oem 20" wheels and tires.. But my question, is I keep reading that 17" rims won't fit the hemi because the rotors are too big.. Is this true? Am I Out of luck? I own them and they're being shipped here.. I've seen some pictures of wk2s with them so it makes me wonder if they will fit.. Any info on this topic is GREATLY APPRECIATED as I don't know what to do in this position... Thank you

If you have the heavy duty brakes with the tow package you may have an issue unless you grind down a corner of the calipers or purchase some type of wheel spacers. What the heck try it out and sell them on craigslist if they don't fit.

Does anyone else know anything?

The 17s are not going to fit without other mods. 18s just fit. You may be seeing WK2s with 18 inch wrangler wheels, rubicon maybe sahara I think.

You own the wheels so it won't hurt to fit one on the front and check clearance. There is wheel to wheel and jeep to jeep variances, but the few folks I've read about here that tried this received no love.

The trim matters as I think all 2011 overlands had HD brakes. If you look at the rear rotor and see vents, you have HD brakes.

You could replace the HD fronts with standard front brakes just to fit the wheels, I think it is just a couple brackets and rotors. :)
