Best Financing Rates / Options

I'm about to pick up my new Jeep in a couple weeks and I want to get my financing lined up ahead of time. What types of rates are people getting these days? What's the lowest source?

Chrysler Finance is obviously an option, but I remember a couple months ago people were finding better deals through Chase or some other finance institutions. One of the alternatives was a military-related thing (if I remember correctly) that was also available to non-military - the name had Penn" in there if I remember correctly (?) but I can't remember what it was actually called. Anyone recall?

Can't wait to pick her up!

Check Penfed.org
You can join for free via various affiliations- if you've donated blood through American Red Cross for instance; or you can donate to one of their charities as well.

Good luck.

1.99% for 60 months. I think that's what's posted on the Jeep website. Done by Bank of America/ Koons - DC group buy. Nice low rates everywhere.

I show penfed is 1.99 up to 60 months and 2.49 up to 72. Just curious, are you saying this is the rate you got or are you still showing this rate available?

Also, to the OP, might want to check with the dealer, edmunds still says 0% is available for up to 36 months and .9 for 48.

Must be by state because mine shows 2.39 for 72 months in NE.

Maybe..slippery because that's what they're giving in Illinois or at least that's what I got. I had a check in my back pocket from penfed and they beat it.

So was this at the dealership? And was it this month? I have a check from penfed as well but was going to see what the finance guy could offer if/when they finally deliver mine, problem is rates are rising with each month.

Depending on the credit your finance guy should be able to shop you against penfed which is what my guy did,I do have a high credit score and yes it was done at the dealership.

Yea, my dealer actually did better than my approved loan from PenFed at the time of my purchase by a half a point via Chase. And I bet they still made money on the contract!
