Ey today I took the Jeep for an Oil Change, and they mention they had a software update... Anyone knows what this this consist?

What ever it was, after the oil change, nitro fill tires, and update, i have gotten the best solid MPG ever 26.6 highway at 65mph ( i also have AEM intake and Gibson catback)

Before this the best i got was 23.3mpg

Did they charge you for filling the tires with nitrogen, an advantage only appreciated on racing tires?

There is a TSB for the transmission. But I doubt it effects Highway MPG.

Fresh oil can boost your MPG. Many oils get thicker as they age.

Also what was your tire pressure before and after service?

Always ran full synthetic, since they r paying for the oil and all im not waiting 6 months in between oil change, i go at 3.

PSI on tires going in was 37, sitting outside my house a few ours after its now 35

You have that backwards. Engine oil shears down and loses viscosity over time.

Anyone know about what the update updated?

Check your service record. It should list the number of the update. Post that number here and someone will point you to the reference document that says what it is about.

1 Attachment(s)
Attachment 29517

This is all it says, no number. So i guess just ABS and PCM update

I like to get the TSB # on the service record. Maybe Eric can give you the numbers.
