U haul Trailer Hitch

I saw a WK last night that had a U haul trailer hitch. It was not like any of the Factory or non factory hitches that you cut out the bumper or the one that goes right below the bumper.

This looked like most normal trailer hitches for pickups and suvs. It was made from round tube and came right below the bumper cover with the round tube and 2" receiver tube. then tapered up towards the rear sub frame. I wish i could have had pics but it was dark and in traffic.

has anyone ever seen them? I have the factory hitch so i dont need one but i am just curious as to how it mounts and why waste time and money on making a trailer hitch like that when the factory style or the factory drop style is cheaper and easier.

The hitch has u haul stickers on it but i cant find it on the site or any pics.

Well, U haul sells one that is 99% identical to the factory hitch. But they also sell one that looks like the standard style hitch with tube etc.

I've got a Uhaul hitch. Cost me $380 for parts, wiring, install, and insurance. I'll add pics when they load =)

Thats still not like the one i saw. If you were looking at the back of the Jeep to the left and right of the receiver there would be round tubing that goes to the rear sub frame. It looks like any other trailer hitch for most vehicles where you can see the whole structure of the hitch.

Hmm...not sure why they'd use that instead of a hidden hitch. Sorry!

I dont know. Its not hidden at all. Right below the bumper is round tube in both directions and attaches to the rear sub frame instead of just bolting in like the factory setup.
