Grille Removal

Hi all! Can anyone tell me if there is a website to show you how to remove the front grille from my 2014 grand cherokee limited. I don't want to force anything just in case it breaks. I am hoping to find out how I can insert some kind of bug protection screen for the radiator before travelling. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Hi, From what I've read on JG it isn't easy. You might be better off fixing some shade cloth across the from and it will also be alot easier if it needs cleaning. I do some interstate travelling and I haven't really had any problems with out a screen.
I will be installing a Summit chrome honeycomb grill into mine so I am expecting a few cuts to the hands & fingers.
Cheers
Steve

Removing the '14 grille requires removing the fascia:

or you can just pop some of the rings out and get your arms in there....

Removing the facia is not required. This thread has info how to do it: http://www.jeepgarage.org/f176/2014-...tml#post900869

Just requires a bit of mechanical aptitude and some patients. Cutting out the centers of old grille sections then removing the remaining perimeters through the openings created seems to be the easiest way to go. Many have successfully done this without removing the bumper cover.
