Took Jeep offroad for the first time....very impressed!

This weekend my wife and I were camping in the south western PA . I took my GC on an old poorly maintained fire tower road in the Laurel Mountains. It wasn't hardcore roading by any stretch, but it was steep on sections, rutted, and full of lose rocks.

I have taken my old Chevy Trailblazer on this same stretch of trail, and while it made it without many issues, it often spun the tires on the steep uphills and skidded a bit on the downs.

I put the Jeep in OR1 on the quadralift and kept it auto on the select terrain. I swear it didn't even spin or lock a wheel for the entire 10 miles. very impressed!!!!

Glad to hear it performed as expected. Wouldn't be a Jeep if it didn't at least do better than a Trailblazer! I've had similar experiences with my WK2 - and that is with the OEM tires which are far from being A/T.
