Squeaking brakes

Is it just me or is it common to get an irrating squeal when braking.

My 2013 Alpine SRT8 has had squeaking brakes from the get go and its driving me nuts.

Any suggestions????

I get it sometimes too with my after market pads. Never had it with factory pads

its pretty common with ultra high performance brakes like we have. Ypou may find an aftermarket pad will do the trick. Personally...I would do a bed in on your stockers first....couple 60 mph jounts and brake until you almost stop....like down to 5 mph....then drive for a good distance so they can cool off. Try that.

My 2012 has 19,000 miles now with NO brake squeaking.

Re: Squeaking brakes

The brembo engineers say we need to use these brakes for what they were intended. Push them hard....and we will have no squeaking issues.
