So I responded to this in another thread but wanted to open it up for more input. I agree with phillysrt that the new embedded JEEP logo on the rear brow needs to go.

One thought is to remove the JEEP badge, fill the recess with a putty or something that could be easily reversed, then vinyl wrap that whole section of the brow, possibly in black. Anyone done this or think it would work?

I'm also thinking about just biting the bullet and getting a reputable shop to permanently fill and paint that section...it's all plastic and seems like it'd be easy to avoid paint lines. Any ideas what this would cost? Any downsides?

Here are a few ideas (Photoshop)...

Fill and paint

I think the filled and painted would look best

Thanks. I think I'm leaning that way, too. Simple, clean.

Here's another PS'd view of the debadge route with side GRAND CHEROKEE removed, too...

BTW, it's shamefully dirty right now from all the rain but surprisingly doesn't look that bad...my reasoning all along for going with white. :)

Yeah I'm also thinking along the same lines. Do you have the Satin Carbon wheels?

Anyone have the part number for the rear brow? I'd like to do the same thing but don't want to go without.

While thing about it, if Black Ops Auto Works is watching, could be an opportunity to do an updated round of brows... I'd be willing to front some cash for R&D. Likely to be easy to start a group buy too.

Nope, black chrome. Lots of brake dust. Dealer didn't prep it prior to delivery so it's never been washed.

Regarding buying a second brow, I thought I read somewhere that the new gate was a lot more integrated so it wouldn't be trivial to replace. Replacing would certainly be my preference but without seeing a parts diagram for a 2014 it's hard to know.

I'm going to the body shop tomorrow to get some minor chips from transit fixed...will see if I can get a quote.

Awesome, that's great. Off to look for it now.

Incidentally I also found this parts diagram on the official Mopar site but the corresponding part (#25) isn't listed.

I guess I'm the only one who hates debadging lol. I love the Jeep emblem. I love how all my wife's friends think it's a $30k crappy car when they hear about it. I never correct them.

^ Sorry for all the "I's"
