BoraBora build thread
Hey guys, thought I'd post my build thread on here too. I'm usually on the other forum. Here's my WK.

It's a 3.7L 2006 65th Anniversary Edition.

Heres what I have so far:
Bilstein 5100s
RC 1.5" Wheel Spacers
Plasti-dipped JK Moabs
285/70/R17 Duratracs
Rear 1.5" poly coil spacer
Adjustable Trac Bar
2" extended rear sway bar links
Front and rear tow hooks
Factory fog lights
Cree 7W Reverse LED's
Expanded sheet metal grill
2 Hella 500ff lights behind grill
ORT and Trail Rated badges
CB set up with 3' Firestik on Aspen Creek Mount
Tail light guards
Pinch weld mod
Aux. input.

What's to come:
Black housing headlights
4xGuard Front Skid
Rola roof rack
AirRam power wire
Tinted front windows

Already bought a Flowmaster 40, but am having second thoughts about putting it on. Also got brand new 285 Duratracs mounted. Here are pictures with the old ones:

Very nice. How's the road ride on those tires?

Re: BoraBora build thread
Thanks man. The worn Duratracs in the picture rode terribly. They vibrated and were louder than my friend's Super Swampers. The new ones are incredibly quiet and ride really well.

hey man, i dig that set up.. i was wondering though.. you listed 1.5" coil spacers in the rear.. what did you do up front to offset that slope. because im also interested in doing this. i already have the OME HD lift installed, wanted just a bit more.. AND, did you do anything driveline related or did the lift not affect that?

Re: BoraBora build thread
Hey man sorry for the late response. There is a very slight rake, but it looks right. Even my friends and family agreed the rear 1.5" boost makes it sit perfect, especially with our light 3.7 engines. I have done nothing driveline related, but may add a powerwire soon. Haven't noticed any significant power loss, just a tad slower on acceleration.

RC 1.5" Wheel Spacers
285/70/R17 Duratracs

I wonder if those same size tires would fit if you only had 1" spacers?

Any problems with rubbing so far? Full-Flex?

wow i really like the stance of your WK. The 285's look great, think im gonna go 285 once my 265's are ready to be replaced.

Re: BoraBora build thread
I too have the 285 Dura's. My jeep is sitting on an OME HD lift with spider 1.5" spacers. I absolutely had to to mod the pinch weld. Some slight rubbing in the rear, but will be adding a larger bump stop I think.

How did you mount and run your CB inside? Can you post pictures?

Re: BoraBora build thread
if you want 3.7 power adders (ideas anyway) stop by my thread. you may need the added power to turn them tires. good build so far!
