Dtc codes after after accident

Got pretty much t boned and my 05 4.7v8 rocky mountain ed.GC was in the body shop for over a month, since driving it i get 3 dtc codes 0452 0300 0304, im guessing the 300 and 304 is the misfire on 4, so i might as well change my plugs because im sure they are more than due, would like to try NGK V-POWER plugs or if possible NGK LASER IRIDIUM anyone try the later? as far as the 0452 code any suggestions? funny thing was before my accident the only code popping up was an oxygen sensor code now after i got it back, that code is gone and the other 3 appeared. also looks like i will need a new water pump and alternator, should i keep those both stock or any aftermarket water pumps/alt's worth getting? i dont have a system or subs so would it be even worth getting a mean green etc?? thanks in advance to all those that help.:thumbsup:

Re: Dtc codes after after accident

P0452 is a small evaporative leak in the gas tank. Usually caused by a broken or loose gas cap. I'd check that first.

The P0300 is a multiple cylinder misfire and the P0304 is specific to cylinder 4.

Causes could be:

Faulty spark or wires
Faulty coil (pack)
Faulty oxygen sensor(s)
Faulty fuel injector(s)
Burned exhaust valve
Faulty catalytic converter(s)
Stuck/blocked EGR valve / passages
Faulty camshaft position sensor

Re: Dtc codes after after accident

checked the gas cap looks fine, unfortunately. im guessing maybe the spark plug in cylinder 4 cracked at the point of impact from the accident but its only a guess? might as well replace all 8 plugs, is there anyone on here that installed the NGK LASER IRIDIUM SPARK PLUGS IN A 05 4.7 WK?? I know everyone says replace with stock, ive seen most have luck with ngk v-power plugs also.
