DD or no?

Just wondering how many of you guys are going to be driving yours this winter in the bad weather to come. I'll be driving my other vehicle this winter.

Jeep is my daily driver in winter, handles well in the winter snow and ice in illinois.

You have a highly effective 4WD vehicle and you'll drive something else in the winter? What is it?

And what does DD mean? I thought this might be a thread about synthetic v. D(ead) D(ino) oils.

Why?

I'm driving mine year round. Winter tires & wheels are on order. It's a 4X4, for goodness sake! ;)

PS: Drove my Charger SRT8 year round, too.

drove mine all winter last year, no problems what so ever.

Sold my beater trailblazer when I bought the SRT... So it is my DD (daily driver)... But the thought of salt and mess all over the blackness, combined with temps too cold to wash, does make me cringe!

Ordered blizzacks and rims on Friday, will swap out come November 1st unless weather is too warm. The P Zeros say do not drive when temps are less than 40 degrees... Should be a beast of a snow machine....

I DD mine! Plan on driving all winter.

Carwash around my town uses Heated jets in the winter!

For me I just put insurance back on my truck and I'll keep the jeep in the garage. All I do in the winter is work a lot more hours because there isn't crap else to do. The little time I would have to drive the jeep would just be just back and forth to work. Plus I can drop the collision of it and save a little money.

my SRT usually gets parked and I drive my Chevy 2500 around...do all my plowing and salting in that....jeep typically wont see snow

Only comes out on nice days unless a sporadic downpour! Wrangler for the winter time.

Moved to a place with no snow... Rarely even drops below freezing here. Will keep on using the Jeep as a DD.

Same here.
Its a JEEP fer chrissake!

With a set of Hakka 7's, I don't plan on staying home at any time this winter unless I just happen to feel like it.

If it gets too bad for a Jeep with Nokian studs, I suspect even the guy down the street with the Pinzgauer might stay home.
