2014 SRT Muffler Question

Looked underneath my SRT and it looks like an easy muffler swap. Just the mufflers. Whereas the Borla atak have the extended pipes. Do they sell just the mufflers for a quick swap out?

Re: 2014 SRT Muffler Question

the atak swaps the pipes and mufflers from the valves back The borla mufflers are part of the tip...its an interesting setup

Re: 2014 SRT Muffler Question

It's not a true axle back system. I spoke with Borla 3 times today. Still requires a 3" cut from the welds.

Re: 2014 SRT Muffler Question

Just ordered! Looking at some install videos but do you recommend taking off the mufflers first, then cutting?

And I hear some tricks on getting off the black hanger by just putting screwdriver in. What do you recommend??

Re: 2014 SRT Muffler Question

I recommend going to midas and having them do it. I did that and they charged me $40 and I was out of there in less than 30 min. They have the lift, cutting tools, spray lube, and experience. Totally worth it.
