2014.5

Did Jeep make any changes that would warrant a 2014.5 designation. Or, did somebody here just decide to call theirs a 2014.5 and others followed?

Re: 2014.5

I first heard it in refrence to the ACC with STOP when another user informed me that anyone buying a July and later built Jeep has the much desired 2014.5
It seems - so far - that changes are as follows:
  • ACC with STOP
  • New radios along with a factory-installed 13.28 software version

Re: 2014.5

Cut and paste from WK2 jeeps

3. Adaptive electronic speed control system w/Stop (2014.5 model year)
(also known as Adaptive Cruise Control-Plus, Adaptive Cruise Control+, and ACC+)

Adaptive Cruise Control w/Stop is significant for its capacity to bring the vehicle to a complete stop without driver intervention in certain conditions. Radar and video sensors identify the locations of vehicles traveling ahead of the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The sensors also help ensure the vehicles are separated by a gap determined by the driver. If the gap is dramatically breached, the ESC system can aggressively deploy the vehicle's brakes to affect a full stop, even if the driver never touches the brake pedal. To resume travel, the driver need only press a button on the steering wheel or tap the accelerator pedal.
NOTES:
  • Sales code "NH3"
  • Mid-model year introduction - late July 2013
  • Cannot be added/retrofitted to 2014 or prior model year vehicles that did not come with the "Stop" feature
  • Not available on SRT models
(more technical info to be added when available)

This in no way shape or form proves I am not a silly boy. 2014.5's also have exit entry on park.

All of the Newer Builds have the designation XZZS Mid Model Year Vehicle Tracking. Which brings the title 2014.5.

I think mine is a 2014.62 according to the Dewey Decimal Calendar.
