2014 check engine light!?

Well I'm gettin a CEL already. It popped up once but I guess cleared itself. But it's back again. Told the dealer about it when it was off at first oil change but they said they didn't find anything. Code is P0520. Anyone else have this come up? Says oil pressure sensor.

Too bad there aren't any other responses. Any updates on your end OP?

Just popped a CEL last night and took our 14 Laredo in for an oil change this morning at 4k miles. Was told something along the same lines regarding the light. Have diagnostics appt in a couple of weeks.

Mine has come on multiple times for a mysterious evap leak that the dealer can't find. Good luck with your issue, mine has yet to be resolved.

Have you seen this:

Thanks jacko15, I have seen it, but my build date is after the one mentioned in the TSB. Nevertheless, I'm going to see if my dealer can apply it, although I'm not hopeful given my last experience with them.

This tsb was originally for the '13 WK, and then was also applied to the '14, so maybe that date is a bit of a moving target. Good luck.

Found this thread that sounds like it could be similar to my issue:

resolved with a sensor replacement. hoping mine's something simple..

bytman 02-02-2014 01:20 PM

Was driving around and noticed the evic showing oil pressure at a constant 100psi at all times. I suspect the sensor has failed..

They ended up replacing the oil pressure sensor and no problems this far. Fingers crossed. On. Positive note I picked up some yakima rail grabs for it for her birthday.

I find TSB build dates to not always be definitive. By example I had a 2011 Acura with a nasty rattle, there was a TSB for 2010 for the exact issue, they insisted it was different, didn't apply. Turned out to be the same issue.

I'd mention there is a TSB that seemingly doesn't apply but all symptoms match.

Great to hear it was solved. Hope mine is just as simple.
