How does Jeep handle TSBs for new builds?
Long time lurker here and have been reading about all of the fixes and TSBs that dealers/Jeep have been doing. My main question is, do they apply those fixes and TSBs to new builds? For example, if a TSB is out about the ECO mode shifting, do they automatically apply the fix any new builds coming out of the factory.

I'm in the market but have been holding off to see how things shake out over the next couple of months and to see what 2015 looks like.

Re: How does Jeep handle TSBs for new builds?
It most likely depends on the TSB. If you read some of the TSBs they are only applied if the customer reports a problem. For example, there is a TSB for smoke from the exhaust on Hemi's. It seems that only people who park on steep hills are affected, so nothing will be done on the line.

When uConnect updates came out, they were seen first on cars coming off the line before the dealers or customers had it available to them.

If you send your VIN to Jeep they will tell you which TSB's apply.

When you go to service and hook up the diagnostic tools (WiTech) it will figure out exactly what you need and notify tech to apply the updates.

If you can afford to wait, I think it's not a bad idea. If you can't wait, get the latest build you can find or even better order one.

I would not personally wait based on the current issues. As is, it's a great SUV. But you might avoid a few headaches/trips to the dealer.
