Body shop north of boston

Hi folks

Someone rear ended my wk2 when I was stopped in traffic. Minimal damage to the rear bumper. Mainly some paint scratches and the plastic trim around the hitch is banged up some. Hard to tell what is going on underneath but doesn't seem bad. He was probably traveling 5-7 mph.

Anyone have a good body shop on the north shore of boston?

Thanks!

Ps everyone was just fine. I just want my baby whole again :)

A different kind of body shop, but yes, the GB still has performances of the Peabody ballet.

I did have a similar accident with my 2005 WK when I was living in Mass. Hitch absorbed most of the impact and there were only some scratches visible on the bumper, however it did require a new bumper. The Jeep dealer in Lynnfield did handle it pretty well.

That stinks ! Deluca Jeep in Haverhill has a full out facility for body work and does excellent work.

Thanks guys. Going to have Kelly do it. They are the dealer in Lynnfield you mention but the body shop is in Beverly. Incidentally it is also who I purchased it from.

I had a similar accident two weeks ago, getting on to Route 1N. Gino's in Rowley does nice work, the Jeep is there now. I have had cars there for repairs 4 times.

I had a similar low speed accident on Route 9 West a couple of months ago driving in bumper to bumper traffic. It was a small car that was low to the ground and they hit my hitch. They ended up with a hole in their bumper from my hitch.

I took it to a local body shop to have it inspected and they couldn't find damage, other than a minor scratch on the hitch fascia.

I'm not sure if it is the sight lines, car color (billet silver), or the approach angle, but I feel like other drivers are sitting on my ass more than with my previous car (sunlit copper Murano). I have, however, noticed cars not getting as close during braking since I swapped the brake lights over to LED. The LEDs come on a split second quicker than the original bulbs.
