Could Skynet take over the 2014 Jeep?

While doing scientific research, i.e. watching Terminator on cable, I started wondering. It appears that everything on the 2014 models is electronic, from the ignition button, to the transmission shifter, to the accelerator, and possible even the brakes. I think even the steering wheel is electronic.

When I learned to drive, the standard rules taught if the vehicle's accelerator stuck was to take your foot off the gas, shift car into neutral, and apply brakes. If brakes also failed, neutral or downshift, coast, and then gently apply emergency brake when in a safe area. If unable to move transmission out of drive, to turn off engine and do above.

With everything electronic, if something happened with the various computers, either accidentally or intentionally (hacker, NSA, Skynet, etc...), is it possible that the 2014 model could be hacked to set accelerator to max, and prevent the driver from being able to stop the vehicle, or perhaps to even steer the vehicle?

Yahoo did an article on this a few months back about cars getting hacked and remotely driven. They had control of gas, brakes and I want to say they even had controll of the steering as well. With cars becoming more and more ran by computers I one think what your saying is not too far off, becuase it's allready happening! If you do a quick Google search you should be able to find somthing about it.

That was the same article I saw a few months back.
