Intake heat soak

I've been reading some threads on here on CAI. A lot of people are concerned with heat soak. Has anyone ever wrapped the intake tube with those header and exhaust wraps? Just a thought...

Funny, I was thinking/contemplating the same thing....:)

Just haven't had a chance to act on my thoughts.

I was thinking that the air rushes through the tube too fast to pick up any real heat from the tube walls.
Think of a garden hose in the sun. After the water runs through it for a minute...it runs cold.
I think it's more important to get the charge air from a cold source
Just my dumb opinion...mabe right and maybe wrong

Good point.
About the only time it would probably matter is sitting in 95+ degree temps in a traffic jam, but then you don't need 'performance' in that situation anyway.
