Steering Wheel Crooked

I picked up my new JGC Laredo and on the ride home I quickly realized the steering wheel is not straight. If I let go of the wheel the car is not pulling at all so I do not believe it is an alignment issue, but for me to drive straight the steering wheel is at about a 3 degree turn to the right.
Is this something I can adjust or do I need to bring this back to the dealer?

It is an alignment issue. Part of an alignment is to center the steering wheel and then align the wheels. If your vehicle was aligned without the steering wheel centered, then the only way to fix it is to have the alignment done again correctly.

Mine along with many others came from the factory just like yours. Dealer didn't have the knowledge to correct mine after 2 attempts so I went to a place that has a Hunter rack, got the receipt and Chrysler reimbursed me for the alignment. Maybe if enough of us did the same thing (hit Chrysler in their pocketbook), then maybe they would do a proper alignment at the factory.

UPDATE: I took the truck in and had them adjust the steering wheel and alignment. The dealer I went to has a Hunter Rack so was able to make the adjustment.....After two attempts! I was not pleased that it took a while to complete and even now I am not 100% sure that its perfect. I may just be paranoid though.

Alignments can be performed within a few minutes or may take several hours. It really depends on how far out of spec the angles are. Our Jeeps are VERY sensitive when it comes to alignment. Especially when adjusting the front toe in order to center the steering wheel. Some models require extra steps in order to complete the alignment procedure (quadra lift and/or adaptive cruise mostly). Average time to perform a FULL alignment (rear camber & toe / front camber, caster, & toe) is usually under 1 hour with a knowlegeable tech. The first one I did definately took longer than one hour. HA!

How long did it take them do setup your Jeep Dan?

It's a known issue!
My vehicle was also delivered with crooked steering wheel that required an alignment.

UPDATE: I ended up going back a 3rd and then 4th time. I have sent the "Lemon Law" Letter to Jeep (which is actually sent to a random lawyer in Albany, NY) and have not heard back. They FINALLY seem to have figured out the problem which was not the front end at all. Actually, it was caused by the alignment of the rear end. Finally they fixed this and when I left the vehicle actually went straight.

HOWEVER!!!!..... Many more challenges still exist. http://www.jeepgarage.org/f107/is-my...tml#post953533
