2014 Grand Cherokee lease

Hello all. Please forgive me I'm not sure I have this in the right forum. I have waited as long as I possibly can for the 2014 Cherokee to be released. So, I have to get a new vehicle this weekend. I have been quoted on a 2014 Grand Cherokee v6 4x4 overland with tech pkg $555 at signing, $548 mo for 39 months. They are throwing in tinted front windows and the Jeep sludge mats in the front, middle and cargo area. Is this a good deal? A friend of mine says it should be closer to $450 a month. Thanks so much for your input!

If you go to Jeeps website you can build your Jeep and it will give you an lease/buy estimate with Chrysler Capitol

Does that $548 include taxes? What mileage are they giving you? I'm at $541 (incl taxes) for 39 months, 12,000 miles/yr. I also had no money down, first months payment due at signing + $295 acquisition fee. I've got a limited with lux group II, trailer tow group IV, and 20" wheels so the vehicle cost is approaching an Overland (all those things are Standard in Overland). When I was looking at going with a '14 they were having a hard time finding a Limited with my specs because it was getting close to Overland cost. When they did the numbers on an Overland for me, the similarly priced vehicle was almost $40 bucks more a month in the lease but the MSRP was only $1000 different. There just weren't the incentives out there for Overlands like there were for Limiteds. That being said, If your payment includes taxes, I'd say that's a pretty good deal. I'd take it.

Overland or Limited? MSRP?

Limited. I also bought that Wear&Tear gimmick....I have been hammered enough on lease returns to just buy the crap up front. Either way it will cost me twice that at return. I am also saving these great GoodYear Fortera tires so I can put them back on right before taking it in.

I got pretty lucky on my last lease (and hopefully this one) in that I returned it 6 months early and owed nothing. In fact I actually had a little equity in it that was applied to the new lease. But by the dealer buying out the lease I didn't have to worry about dents, dings, miles, or tires.

If all goes well they will try to buy this one out too before 36,000 miles.

I think the rough numbers are $10 per thousand. You have a optioned out Laredo so that sounds about right. You can plug in your numbers to this site as well to tell you if your lease is good (it's pretty basic so I don't know how accurate it is but it at least give you an opinion)

Thanks everyone I brought home a white 14 Overland with tech package last night. Ended up being $525 due at signing $525 a month for 39 mo 12k miles per year. 2 issues so far. I see the moisture folks have been talking about in the head light assemblies. Also sometimes when I start it up the entire screen reads "Vehicle phone" consult dealer. Any one else having this issue? My iphone paired easily with no problems. Thanks!

That is a good deal on an overland. Is that including Tax? Your sale price must have been well below invoice.
