2014 Summit NAV issues
Has anybody had problems with their NAV system? We just had ours replaced after it kept throwing a bunch of codes. We had the updates done on the original system, and it still had problems like: pre set radio stations am/fm/sirus would not stay set after a couple of days, then the temp reading would freeze up (ie) it would be 85+ and the temp would read 66. Then when it cooled down into the low to mid 70's it would start working again, then the clock started acting up (ie) it would read 8:58 then display 8:59 then go back to 8:58 and back and forth.

They replaced the NAV system with a whole new NAV system and 2 days after setting the stations it did the same darn thing. Its a lot of money to pay for a NAV system that doesn't work properly. I know that the Ford Sync system had a lot of issues and there is a class action law suit against Ford for their problems. Ford extended the warranty on their system from 36/36 to 60/60.

Anybody have any fixes or suggestions? Taking the GC back in again this Friday. This is becoming a regular date with the dealership and its getting on our nerves.

Re: 2014 Summit NAV issues
I have not had those issues but some folks have mention the radio preset issues and mentioned that those are tied to the seat/mirror memory.

I don't know what's involved with flushing it all out but I'd tried getting things set in both memories and put something a little different in each and make sure you can recall each set. That might make things stick.

Re: 2014 Summit NAV issues
My uconnect is stroking out left and right, Nav maps reboot, SD card and ipod are not being recognized, system reboots all the time. The Uconnect system is a mess, so frustrated that the dealer keeps updating and then it strokes out again. This system was not ready for prime time.

Sounds like you ALL need your radios swapped out AND the latest firmware installed...
