I know you said you checked the belt, but have you checked to see if the tensioner is in spec? The auto-belt-tensioners aren't fail proof and I've had to replace several in my day. Bad tensioner = loose belt regardless of belt age. Also, it could just be a whining pulley.

How can you check if its bad? The tensioner seems to be good to me the belt is nice and tight.

Perhaps if you open up the hood you might find a twin-screw SC in there!

J/K.....can you post up a vid with good audio?

I believe they make a spring tensioner tool to check the tension. In either case, it's a less likely solution. More often you're hearing a bearing on one of your pulleys failing. Most common are usually alternator and A/C.

lets say if its the ac the do i have to get a new ac compressor or just the clutch ?

I would check ps pump. They are known to go bad and will whine with rpm.

As stated above, it could be any bearing as well.

You need to narrow down where the noise is coming from either by removing the belt and feeling for worn bearings or by using a stethoscope or screwdriver to figure out the noisy component.

Was it whining before the belt replace, or did it only start afterwards?

If only afterwards, the belt could be too tight which on the v8 would be "odd".

The alternator whine tends to be the most obvious and annoying as well as continual like a cheap siren. The other ones usually sound more like squeaks...
