To SRT or not to SRT... that is the question

Hello

I need some advice....I currently own 2, '14 GC Summit 5.7s. My dealer recently called said he has a customer who cannot afford his '14 SRT and wants out. He knew I always wanted the SRT but I didnt want to pony up the almost $20k to get one.

He asked if I may be interested in trading my car plus another $15K for this guys SRT.

Just wanted to hear some opinions.

The sticker on my Summit was $57k and I paid $50K
The sticker on the SRT was $69K

I live in New England so the only thing that concerns me is driving in the snow, then again I always have the other summit if I trade mine.

Any thoughts??

Thanks in advance

Jeff

Driving in the snow I'd imagine that you will need another set of wheels/tires...but I'm in Texas so I can't speak from personal experience, just passing along what I have read others say...

With that being said, if you wanted an SRT and are happy with the price offered, why not? :D They are a BLAST to drive.

I paid 64K for my '14 SRT that had a 69K sticker price. So that's not really a deal...

I just traded in my 2012 Grand Cherokee for a 2014 SRT and could not be happier. Totally worth $15k to get an SRT as I paid $35k

I have owned my SRT since the end of June. Every morning I get in and start it up, I have grin from ear to ear. You will not be disappointed!!

I personally went from a 2012 V6 overland to a 2012 5.7 overland to the 2014 SRT. It is a completely different machine all together and worth every cent!

If you want an SRT go for it, but I would try to get a better deal.

That is the question?

There is NO question.

Don't wait another day!! My only regret with buying my SRT is that I didn't do it sooner. I've owned several through the years. Started with the Limiteds to a diesel model, several Overlands then moved to the Overland Summit. Nothing comes close to comparing to the 2014 SRT. It's the most enjoyable fun ride I've ever owned. I can't go anywhere without getting compliments. The saying "get in, shut up and hold on"fits this car like a glove! Don't be surprised when you walk into work with a smile!
