Oct 23rd was the day I got to pick her up and drive her 500km home. It has the Lux2, Hemi, tow package and 20's. Dealership put on tow hooks, black tube side rails and mud flaps. Very happy. No issues to report. Drives fantastic on the hwy, the 8 speed works great in all modes and UConnect has no issues that I can tell so far. Bought it for 2% below dealer invoice. Very happy. It's replacing my 09 Acura TL SH-AWD that goes off lease in Dec. Loved the car. The AWD was phenomenal but nothing from Acura appeals to me right now so we got our first ever JGC. I went through the delivery checklist and I had none of the common problems. Everything is straight and as it should be. This site made nervous with all the issues stated but am glad to be among the many enjoying this fine vehicle. Now it's time to take the 20's off for winter and put some black steel rims with dedicated snow tires on to take the winter abuse. This site rocks aside from making me apprehensive at times. Ordered it Sept 9th and dealer received it Oct 21st. Attachment 30875

Congratulations! Love the color (same as I ordered). Glad it is doing well and didn't show any issues.

Never be afraid to make decisions just because some of the info isn't good to hear there's plenty of happy people enjoying their jeeps right now and you're one of them..congrats and welcome to the family.

Nice. I ordered mine on 9/28 and the online status is still "Production Scheduled" after 4 weeks. Do you happen to know when yours moved past this status?

Thanks.

Unfortunately in Canada we do not get the ability to track our orders outside of calling the dealer and asking them to do it. I believe mine was scheduled to be built within a week of placing my order (ordered Sept 9th) and then was scheduled to be shipped Sept 30th. It arrived in the Halifax port via train Oct 15th and was delivered to the dealership Oct 21st. I only got this info by calling the dealership once a week for updates.

I think I may have the shimmy folks are complaining about. Feels like the left front tire is out of balance as it only occurs at 100kph and above. I'll see next week if it still occurs with my winter rim/tire setup on. If so that's a bigger issue than just a rebalance of the stock 20's. 600km on it thus far and loving every km.

I have also been getting a lot of compliments on the Jeep. Ppl seem to realy dig the Billet Silver with the 20's and Lux2 DRLs. I'm about to ruin that look when I put on the 18" black steel rims and winter tires though. But Id rather bend a 90$ pos rim than a nice alloy rim during the winter madness.

Great color, congrats! My first jeep as well...As far as issues, in reality only a small portion of actual owners come to forums such as this. And an even smaller portion of those are the ones posting problems. So it's nothing to worry about.

Mac

Ya seems to be a common theme on most forums. I'm a member of Acurazine ( I also have an 09 Acura TL SHAWD) as well and it's mostly issues that are posted and some mods. Great resource for trouble shooting though.

Due to this forum my salesman didn't bother showing me the features as I knew more about the vehicle than him and he owns the dealership lol. Service depts hate it when I come In and tell them I have this noise caused by such and such and this thingamajig needs to be replaced. Just killed a few hours they had likely hoped to bill the warranty to troubleshoot the issue hehe.

Enjoy. Guessing we're not too far away for each other. Ordered my Overland on August 16, built on Sept 20 and still waiting on delivery. Are you using a dealership in Halifax ?? My understanding is the Jeeps are railed to St. John and then trucked from there. Might PM you to ask some questions on rims, side tube rails (can't decide on running boards or rock rails). Going to stud the winter tires ?? I've run studded winter tires on all my JGCs.

I a deciding between Granite and Billet so more pics would be much appreciated. I am also probably going to run an 18" black wheel/winter tire setup so pics once that swap is made would be great as well.

Congrats!

Getting the winter steel rims and Saxon winter tires on this weekend. Will post pics. I tried to get them on last weekend but shop had to order 4 more rims in due to one being warped. It sure does look ready for the winter shit with the setup on. Will indulge you guys with more pics soon.

Winter rim/tire setup. Nice quiet and smooth. I'll update the snow traction once a storm hits.
