Wtf

I already posted this message on a different part of this forum before I realized there's a section specific to the '14.

Anyways, second time this has happened to me. I started up the truck to go for a wash when all my dash warning lights came on, service engine, ABS, brakes, traction etc. The EVIC showed stored messages of: Service electronic braking system, service ABS and airbag system. My speedometer is dashed out effectively making how fast I was moving virtually impossible.
The first time I had it in for this back in June, they couldn't diagnose the problem but agreed that one existed. So I just dropped it off unannounced this afternoon and told them to keep it until these issues are resolved.
Has anyone else experienced this??

I'm pretty sure there was a software update that addressed this. Not sure what version you are a currently on but my hunch is that if they flash to the current version it will take cRe of it.

I had the software flashed about a month ago when I brought it in for an oil change..

Not sure of the build date but I know some of the early builds had fuses not pushed in all the way and grounding bolts that needed tightening

hmmm..... may still want to have them check it out and make sure it is the current version.

That could be the case. I know when I bought mine I was around the 20th person in the province to have one.. So maybe it is and early build model

If you push your dealer hard, they might replace your ABS unit which is the culprit.

Otherwise you have to wait for the infamous recall notice to upgrade your software to work around the ABS Unit.

I don't believe software is actually out there yet.

You don't know that, and repeating it doesn't make it true. A software error could easily trigger multiple warnings. That is more likely than an ABS module triggering all the other warnings.

My abs module was never changed, but the problem went away when they changed the PCM. Somebody else had a shift module changed to fix the problem.

It seems that changing anything prevented the unique situation that triggered all the modules to send out warnings.

Well it seems that was exactly the issue (according to my Jeep dealer) the ABS module was replaced. So far so good. Knock on wood
