As a cartographer, I am more than a bit disappointed with the graphic designer who drew some bezier curves and slapped numbers on it. Would be cool if they actually used a topographic map from Rubicon Trail or Moab.

The article suggests it's more than just random curves and numbers, but instead is an actual topo from Auburn Hill where Chrysler HQ is.

While it's apparently not bogus, using Rubicon or Moab as you suggest would have had a much higher cool factor.

If this is an actual map then it explains how come they are "disjointed" up there.
