Re: Rubicon wheels with pics

Was this from some type of muddin' off road competition?

austin9892003 11-04-2013 05:58 PM

It was a big jeep event about 1500 jeeps with trails/mud/rocks

Looks awesome and like a lot of fun.

I'd be so down for big a Jeep'n gathering/convention, granted one that the WK2 could hold up with... :p

Looks very nice.

How bad is the rubbing at Normal Ride Height? I'm guess that these pics are at Off Road 2 height.

Pics are at offroad 2, no rubbing in any mode on or off the trail. This is as big as you can go before you rub, 32in tire

Andoskyy 11-05-2013 09:12 PM

Sorry if I'm missing it... What size are they?

austin9892003 11-06-2013 05:00 AM

255/75/17 off a rubicon

I've read multiple places that a 17" rim wouldn't fit an Overland because of HD brakes. Is yours an Overland? Any figment issues that you to had to address? I want those exact rims/tires for mine.

austin9892003 11-07-2013 05:32 AM

I had no issues, from what I have read the only ones with HD brakes are the hemi and diesel models regardless of trim.
