my headlightsd have that kind of foggy/hazy look to them..does anybody know if this stuff works or if they tried it?

and my dad says this will work because the condensation/fog is on the outside of the light while i think its on the inside of the housing...any answers to that?

Re: headlights
I got the same thing... my solution was just to buy new headlights.... that happens to them when they are constantly exposed to sunlight. Not so sure it has to do with condensation/fog

Re: headlights
I just fixed this issue on another car of mine. It sounds scary, but I used sandpaper and car pollish. I wet sanded ithem with 150 gritt, then again with 1000 gritt. It got it pretty smooth. Then to finnish it off I used some "Flitz" pollish to pollish them out, and sprayed a little clear coat paint on them, and it's a night and day differnece.

Re: headlights
This usually occurs after many years of UV rays exposure, I tried a similar product on my 1999 and it did help alot, did not take them back too new but close and with the 6000k HID's i really cant tell anymore, I also heard of a few people that sanded their headlights as well ...
good luck:)

Re: headlights
I tried everything but all solutions work for a limited period of time. Inevitably I have to change headlights soon..

Re: headlights
Does anyone know if the 00 WJ Laredo is pre-wired to accept the auto headlight sensor? I noticed on that Jeep used to make a fog lamp kit which included the sensor. My 00 WJ has fog lamps but not the automatic headlights. The kit has been discontinued but there are plenty of sensors at the junk yards.

Re: headlights
I don't know if they are pre-wired. I do know that you'll need a new switch and the sensor that goes on the dash.

Re: headlights
Thanks, from what I've seen the fog lamp harness may have the plug for the sensor. Then switching the multi function switch seems fairly easy.:)
