Question regarding Falken Ziex S/TZ-04

http://www.texasdirect.co.nz/wp-cont....1280.1280.jpg
Does anyone have a long term report? I did some searching and found little information here other than a member that had cupping issues. However, the alignment was not correct. Most on line reviews are fair to good. I'm guessing the carcass is the same as the Ziex S/TZ-05 so info on them is welcome.
Anyhoo, I have a lead on a pretty good deal (and a plug in my sidewall) so just looking for real experiences after some miles on 'em.
Thanks!

I have them. Very, very noisy, they ride very hard, and they don't grip well.

They do look nice and meaty mounted, but they're not worth it. Even the stock Goodyear Forteras are far superior.

How many miles are on them and do you rotate every 8k?
I would expect them to ride harsher, as the sidewall has an extra ply and they are are higher load range. The grip thing bothers me though. I do like to drive....uh....spirited.
From a technical aspect the tread design does look functional, very similar to the Pirelli Scorpion ATR which my friend loves on his F150. They do not make them in the 20" size for me. I couldn't care less about how appealing a tire looks but not happy

Re: Question regarding Falken Ziex S/TZ-04

I have about 12k miles on them now and they're rotated regularly.

Regardless though, they've been noisy and lacked grip from day 1. In the wet, they're downright dangerous.

My tire guy said the Falken Ziex S/TZ-05 (which is the updated design) addresses a lot of the concerns.

LOL, maybe that is why I can get the -04's for a good deal. They are trying to push them out to make room for the -05's
I'm also considering the Nitto Crosstek but there are no reviews I see yet. The Terra Grappler is a bit aggressive for my needs but I hear good things.
