Limited Suspension Options

Hi:
I am looking at ordering a limited, and exploring the Canadian Jeep site.
On the web site, it indicates that there are two Suspension Options.
Normal Duty Suspension, and Off Road Suspension.
Can anyone tell me what the difference is. I'm hoping that the Off Road Suspension means that the Limited is raised up to the level of the Trail Hawk, at this point I don't care about skid plates and such, just clearance.
Can anyone confirm what the difference is between the two suspension offerings?
thanks in advance

Yes the off-road suspension is the same as on the Trailhawk. But you will not have quite as much running ground clearance due to the Limited's smaller tire size. You also will not have the locking rear differential that is on the Trailhawk.

Active Drive I is the single speed PTU - Normal suspension.
Active Drive II is the dual speed PTU - selecting this also adds the off-road suspension I believe.

Yes, ADII and the Off Road suspension go hand in hand. They are listed separately but you can't get one without the other. $995 for the pair.

This is great news, so all I would have to do is put the larger tires and wheels on and it would sit like a trial hawk. I'm happy, as I wanted a trail hawk for the clearance (read deep snow where I live) but also wanted the HID head lights which one can't get with the trail hawk. I can live with out the locking rear end.

Respectfully, you are incorrect. The Limited actually has larger diameter tires than the TrailHawk. The TrailHawk does have wider tires though.

I thought they were slightly smaller.

Please check the specs on Jeep.com. The TrailHawk's tires are 17" and the Limited's are 18"

The limiteds RIM are bigger but the TIRES are not.

We are discussing apples and oranges. Anyway, if you read further in the specs it states the TrailHawk sits just a fraction of an inch higher than the Limited with the off road suspension.

TrailHawk Height: 67.8
Limited Height: 67.3

You are discussing apples and calling them oranges. I'm talking about apples and calling them apples.

LOL, if you say so but my specs prove differently.
