'93 XJ Lift
Here's the issue, I have a '93 XJ on a 2in Rough Country suspension lift & I have a 4in suspension lift that I want to install. Are there any mods that I'll need to do underneath? I mean, I roll on 33 Thornbirds. I know that I need a front drive shaft, but will the rear one be alright without getting bound up? Had it on a left last night and nit-picked it, but I'm still open for advice. Thanks!
Re: '93 XJ Lift
Every rig is different. At 4" you'll probably want to go ahead & do a slip yoke eliminator with a CV/Double Cardan shaft. T-case drop is cheaper if you don't want to go SYE, but robs clearance. Stock control arms are gonna start to suck, drop brackets are a cheap fix, long arms are the correct fix. Adjustable track bar to center the front. HTH....I miss my XJ :-(
Alright, thanks. But, I think I'm just going to keep it at its height now because I can't afford to do anything with her yet.
