Snowshoes

After a few 20 degree mornings and the 3-season Pirelli's not loving life - I decided it was time to get the Beast some better claws for the winter.

Didn't want a super wide tire 295's and Tire Rack didn't have the 275's avail... so Belle Tire found this package. Now I know why many on here have the black 5 spoke rims - they look damn good!

Blizzack 255's with all the TPMS and road hazard for $600 a tire... reasonable - I think...

My only concern is the front brembo caliper is just over 1/3" away from the inside of the rim.. if a Rock or chunk of something gets caught in there - may get ugly... Also, not sure if another alignment is needed as it looks a little angled, but may be OK...

Too bad it is 50 degrees here today and supposed to be 65 and storms tomorrow... I'm ready for some snow now:thumbsup:

Was the cost $600 per wheel/tire or just tire?

Re: Snowshoes

$600 x 4 + tax - total bill was just over $2500 out the door with everything

Rim
Tire
TPMS
balancing
road hazard
valve stems
storage of my summers for the season...

Thanks. That could be my next move. Did you do that locally or online?

Sorry, scratch that. I see Belle Tire.

Looks really good.. So the tires the car comes with are not all season?

It's an option to get the 3 season tires. Look on your sidewall if it says P-Zero they are the 3 season.

If it says Scorpion Verde they are the All-Seasons.

Both are the same size though

I just ordered the same rims 20 x 9. Also ordered winter tires, Blizzak DM-V1 285/50/20.

Should all arrive at the same time as my SRT early next week. :)

Re: Snowshoes

FYI - as stated the front brembo is damn close to the rim - and as I feared, I had a rock get caught after an evasive (shoulder) maneuver on Monday and hear a 'thud thud thud' - then nothing ... got to work and a nice chip on the caliper is there... (where do you find that red brembo paint at again???)

Bought some 1/4" wheel spacers on amazon today to add just a little more room... fronts only
