So after having 3 different GC's this year I might buy a Durango!

Had my 11 X until February.

Then came the 14 Overland.

Needed more power so I bought an SRT.

Now I might need more room so I'm considering a 14 Durango. Does anyone know if Jeep will actually build a 3 row SUV soon???

I'd hate to lose my license plate.

In theory (Marlon/Chevy/Milous/Scott correct me here), the Wagoneer will be a 3rd row.

However, that's a 2015 model year at best if I am reading the tea leaves correctly.

I solved the problem the old fashioned way, I have both the CRD Overland, and a Citadel Durango.

Love em both.

The Durango feels like the Overland's bigger (fatter) brother. Same UConnect, same tranny, , etc... just longer and a bit more sporty (less clearance means it handles getting chucked into a corner pretty well).

Same here:
2012 GC overland
2014 Durango R/t
1991 grand Waggy

Still waiting for the new Waggy :-)

Didn't even know the Durango had a $2k rebate. I'm wanting a RT with rear blu ray, nappa leather, technology group and tow. Gets pricey fast! Anyone have an opinion on the 2nd row captains seats or 60/40 split?

I skipped over the BluRay option in both of mine.

$2k for something I can do (better) with $400 worth of Kindle Fires...

That said, I opted for the Bench in the 2nd row, gives me full 7 passenger seating, plus if I'm hauling anything, I don't have to worry about either a big divot in the middle (no center stack) or a leather arm rest I could snag on/scuff up).

So how was the transition from the 14 Overland to an earlier SRT ?

Bought the 14 in February and looked at the SRT in early April. Loved the power but just couldn't take a step back into the outdated interior and trans. Fast forward to September and I was bored with the 14 because it was just like everything else on the street and the wow factor had fizzled out. I absolutely love my 12 SRT Jeep but with a 3rd kid on the way it's time for a change. The brute power, styling, and performance made me forget all about the refresh I had grown accustomed to over the prior months. Sold it on ebay for $40k to a wholesaler in Texas. The SRT is all that and then some in my opinion. Just time for a change. . Again

Wagoneer, last I checked, was a 3 row vehicle.

I do not BELIEVE there have been any changes.

The big question remains...

WHEN?

Knowing my luck it will be the summer of 14 as a 15 model and I'll be stuck in my Durango! Too bad none of the insiders are sharing their info. Seems like after they axe the Durango would be a good time to release it. Dealers can't keep used Commanders in stock due to high demand. I'm sure some of the higher ups know this.
