Erase error codes 2002 WG Grand Cherokee 2.7 CRD
I found somebody that could test and report on the problem with my ABS for a reasonable fee.
He diagnosed "Wheel speed front left Signal faulty" according to the Bosch print out.
After printing out the report he said "I'll just reset it for you, but the light will probably come on soon after you move off." He dived in the car under the dash and, I presume, because it only took him about 5 seconds, pressed a button on the connector that he had plugged into the diagnostic junction port.
This leads me to suppose that resetting can only be a matter of either grounding, or pulling high, the appropriate pin on the diagnostic junction port to erase the error message, allowing the the ABS static check to turn off the warning light. Of course, as he said, as soon as one gets under way and the system does its dynamic check, the light comes on again.
What I need to know is, which is the appropriate pin to pull low or high to reset the system. This would enable me, after I have done some cleaning/replacing/repairing work, to check whether or not I have been successful in my efforts, and save me a trip, and associated cost, to the man with the tester.
Thanks in advance for any info.

When i´m not wrong go all component interrogation signals via the PCI data bus and is it connected to pin 2 of the data link connector. I won´t expect just a simple low or high signal would reset the fault light.
