Interior alignment issue

I noticed that the flip up door which hides the outlet, USB, and sd card ports isn't aligned properly in my 14 overland. Pretty minor problem and doesn't disturb functionality, but annoying nonetheless. Anyone else have this issue? More importantly any easy fixes for it? Thanks.

Seems to be a common issue. Mine is also off, not bad but I notice it. Planning to have the dealer take a look at it with my first oil change.

Mine was off. No surprise there as almost every 2014 that I've looked at suffers from the same poor quality control. The right side of the center console cover (to the right of shifter handle) was also not seated properly from the factory. I fixed mine myself by removing the shifter handle and adjusted the storage compartment door and console cover.

Do you mind explaining how you adjusted the door?

Re: Interior alignment issue

A lot of interior trim pieces do not line up in mine as well. It is annoying when I see it, but I have come to realize that it is normal Chrysler/Jeep quality control or the lack of it.

Cheers,

I don't believe it the door that's the problem...but the panel below it under the shifter.

My passenger side corner of the panel sticks up more...putting that corner closer to the right side of the flip door.
