What happened to the 1 gallon deep wheel cleaner? Trying to put an order together.

hankwedge 11-25-2013 06:56 PM

Does the free shipping work before the 15% or after the discount. My order is $135 after discount. Do I get free shipping?

Just placed another order. You guys need a frequent buyer program. Haha.

Their detail spray is great as is the brilliant glaze.

The glass cleaner and interior detailer is also good.

I also have a black srt and went from just the detail spray a month ago to almost the entire product line. To be honest it Is all good stuff although I'm still partial to sonax for the wheel cleaner but am going to give the Adams another shot later this week.

Thanks.

That pretty much all I just ordered

Ordered the deep wheel cleaner. Hope it's as good as sonax or better.

Did you use our Deep Wheel Cleaner side by side with SFE?

I'm just curious to know what you weren't impressed with from our DWC.

Nick,

Sorry if I gave the wrong impression, I actually liked the product quite well just seemed that the sonax worked a little better*. The reason I say this is that it seemed to stay "wet" longer which allowed it to sit on the wheels longer before I needed to rinse it off so that it did not dry on the wheels. The Adam's smells 100x better though.

I will but a big "*" though by saying it was far from a scientific test though with way to many variables. I still have a good bit of both cleaners left and will try to do a more detailed "test" this weekend with them side by side, same temps, same level of dirt, same dwell time, same amount of product, ext. With the SRT's wheel cleaning has become a weekly affair (at least).

Totally understood.

The SFE is more of a gel consistency. Ours, as you know, is a thin liquid, which we felt allowed it get better coverage into all of the tight areas that most wheels have.

If you saw faster drying than you'd like, be sure the wheels are totally cool to the touch before spraying the DWC (or any wheel cleaner) on it. That will give you a little extra time to work before it begins to dry. Working on a single wheel from start to finish will ensure that you see no drying as well.

SRT brakes are dusty, for sure. Have you tried our Quick Sealant to seal them up?

That would explain the dry time thing if it is a thinner consistency.

I did do a quick coat of the quick sealant but it was only a partial coat and when I do my first tire rotation I plan to get them fully cleaned up and do 2 good coats.
