Finally delivered Downunder

Picked up my white SRT last night was to be delivered with Spider monkey rims but came with standard rims. I sulked and they will change them tomorrow. Will keep it standard for a week to check for faults then the modifications will start. Have enjoyed reading how others have worked on their SRTs and thanks for the inspirations. 9 month wait.

I live in Perth West Australia
The dealer rang me and changed the rims over to the spider monkeys today.
The ride is different to what I'm used to love the power but used to my butt being closer to the road.

I started to debadge it today it was made easier using the "flat" AMEX card (after paying for the SRT). Thursday will ring around to find a suspension shop the fit my Road magnet springs. The mods have started

Congrats on the purchase! Out of interest, which dealer did you purchase your SRT from? Mine is due for delivery any day now and was ordered with the Spider Monkey rims, so hopefully the standard rims don't come with the car!

G'Day Desko

I have Road Magnet springs. They were ordered through Chad from Black Ops He put together 1.8 inch drop front and rear. I wanted to go 1.8 front 2.8 rear but that would attract unwanted attention from the boys in blue. Also have the BWoody SWay Bar Links and waiting for the Black Ops adjustable control arms.

Black Ops are easy and good to work with.

The suspension is being fitted Tuesday, wrapping the roof and window chrome gloss black Thursday. I am also doing a test carbon fiber Hydro Dip on some parts and if it looks good may carbon fiber Hydro Dip all the external black parts and interior chrome.

I have a set of 22 inch Lexani rims a BWoody CAI and Billet Technology engine dress kit coming.
All parts are from USA so the costs are 35% higher due to freight :-(

After all this will catch my breath and see what else I can do.
