Where to buy clear vinyl for front fascia?

Has anyone wrapped their fascia to protect it during the winter months?

I looked into it a couple weeks ago...was going to have XPel Ultimate installed on the front (bumper cover, portion of hood, fenders, side view mirrors.) Was going to cost about $800 installed.

However, they don't apparently have the templates for the '14 yet, and I did not want them free-hand cutting the film.

Thanks for the info. Is the 14 much different than the 13 as far as the fascia goes?

I have no plans on leaving it in very long. It can make quite the eyesore over time.

Getting mine put on this Monday with these guys. They are considered the best in the area and they print their own templates. Accutint (Seattle,WA)

It will run $800 for a partial cover, and they'll need it for most of the day.

Re: Where to buy clear vinyl for front fascia?

I'm looking at doing a plasti-dip clear bra with 2 to 3 coats of clear and a final coat of glossifier. Just to see how I like it. If not, I can remove it easily.

I'm a bit concerned about clear vinyl such as 3M Scotchgard and Ventureshield. Heard some bad stories about how it doesn't like to come off as easily as they say, repairing a big chip and not being able to get the edges that well. I heard Xpel on the other hand is pretty good as it 'self-heals' and comes off easier. But it's harder to get for self install at the moment. 3M stuff is everywhere.

Let us know how you go. Winter is Coming.

I had mine done with xpel. They do have the 14 patterns. Cost was 700 for all the front, lights, hood and mirrors. Total time was 3 hours in CA.

Is anyone interested in a group buy for a clear bra? The guy on ebay said the ventureshield is 250 right now, I think we can get them or someone else down with enough interest. I put the guys response to me below.

Dear gtaz19,

Yes we have the patterns for the 2014 Dodge Durango. The price is $269.95 for the deluxe (bumper, partial hood, fender tips, and mirror backs). We are offering this kit on sale for $249.95 through the end of December. Let us know if we can help with anything else.

Thank you,

Any interest?

Yeah,, interested, potentially, but I don't try myself to put the stuff on. If I need to find someone to install, I'm probably better off just finding someplace local (and reputable) to do it.
