Engine missing on start-up for short time

I am experiencing cylinders 1,3 and 5 missing for a short while after start-up when the vehicle has been sitting for a while, say 2 or 3 hours. It started as just cylinders 1 and 3 but now has included number 5 also. It is only on that bank. I am unable to figure out what is going on. Any ideas? I have a 1998 Grand with the 5.2 V8.

Anything been done to it lately?
There are any number of causes, from old spark plug wires to old spark plugs to head gasket leaking coolant into the cylinder to fouled plugs from valve guides, etc. to
bad injectors, leaking injector, etc. depending on what other symptoms are
noted.

The crank position sensor could also be involved as could a bad/corroded engine ground or a dirty throttle body sensor, but you'd expect those to affect cylinders more randomly.

If you pull a couple plugs, what do they look like compared to the ones that don't miss?

Could also be a distributor. However I do believe it is kinda in a pain place to get to.

Thanks for the responses! I have replaced plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor. I also replaced the injector in cylinder #1 just in case. I have been running some Heet in it lately just to be sure I don't have a problem with water in the gas. There have been some issues with that in my area recently. I still have the problem. I picked up a fuel pressure tester and am going to test that to see if the pump or fuel pressure regulator are OK. If someone has any more ideas, please let me know! Thanks! I don't get on-line on a regular basis so I may not get your response for a few days.
