2014 Jeep GC rattle/buzz solved!!

We have had the diesel for almost 2 weeks, and from day one have noticed a plastic vibration or buzz seemingly emanating from the left of the dash cluster to the left AC duct.

Of course this vehicle was unaffected by the TSB regarding the metal bracket on the steering column.

Anyway, in the below pic you can see some wiring connectors and when I manipulated these "wire bundles" I could reproduce the sound, though I really couldn't determine exactly what the plastic "connectors" were vibrating against.

So, I ended up twisting/repositioning some of the components without putting too much stress on anything and the vibration is 100% GONE!!!!

Please note the photo is taken just to the left of the visible OBD2 port.

I'm pretty sure I have the same thing, on my 2014 GC. Could you post those pictures again, having issues seeing existing. Seems to happen at 50 mph or more with lots of wind. Maybe even the plastic molding driver side under the corner of the hood. If I open the hood and wiggle it it sounds like exact same sound where the plastic is rattling against the body under the hood. It's just fitted into a hole and not secured in place.

Thanks

Thanks for posting this! I'm pretty sure I have the exact same thing. This usually only happens in my car when I travel over certain types of roadway (so rarely) but it's still maddening.
