No Heat under 3000 RPM
Hello All, I have a 2012 Grand Cherokee Overland with an heating issue. while driving I notice that the heat doesn't work unless I drive above 3000 rpm. Blower works fine, but cold air comes out unless I'm above 3000 rpm, soon after I go below 3000 rpm the it goes from hot to cold. Please help!!!!
Re: No Heat under 3000 RPM
Had the same problem in my 93 BMW. What you have is an air pocket in the cooling system. Above a certain rpm you can sometimes overcome this cavitation of air, but it will keep coming back. you will need to bleed the air out of the system in order to displace this pocket of air with coolant.
