New tires today!

I've never been so excited about tires before! My '11 GC has the stock Fortera's and they're on 53k miles. We've had a few small snows in Baltimore the last 2 weeks and they've done horribly. Mostly due to the low tread I believe. I took out my wife's '05 Liberty with newer Fortera's and had no issues with the snow/ice. I was able to find a shop in Rosedale that could order the Nitto Terra's for no additional shipping fees! Atlantic Tire. Got a quote of $975 on the rim and out the door! Ordered them Tuesday afternoon, they came in this morning, appointment is for today at 3pm! Stoked!

Post pics please. I'm getting closer to a new set myself. No snow here but aggressive tires just look good imo, even at the expense of a little hum on the freeway :)

Congrats! I like those tires. I ran a different Nitto tire on a previous vehicle ('01 Ranger 4x4) and I loved them.

Looking forward to the installed pics!

Nitto Terra Grapplers are GREAT for about 60,000 then they start to lose it.

Got them on, and drove them around. I could tell a difference right away. Ride height was slightly higher because of the new treads. I could make out more road noise with the radio off, but with it on, could't hear anything. Steering seemed more responsive as well. I'll snap a couple of pics tomorrow and post them up!

Could you provide an update about your experience with the tires so far? How did the tires hold up with the snow we received in January and February? How are they holding up now that it's warmer out? (I'm in NOVA)
